Guidance for winning projects
Association activities are compulsory in the 1st and 3rd years at the IFI. They are part of the ‘Bloc Terrain’ (‘in the field’ studies) which represents 20% of study time. These activities are supervised by tutors and students are prepared for them in a seminar on the management of projects in associations.
Arts and culture
• 'L'Art dans tous ses états' : thematic exhibitions with different artistes, the first involving : exhibition of graphic work, Hip-Hop dancers and a DJ in a theme bar in Rouen.
• 'Art'Ifistes' : about the theatre : street theatre (candid camera), improvisation on stage with the association, organisation of a show with a group of adults and Franck Dubosc
• 'Talent show' : a show including singing, dancing and sketches.
• 'Artistes en herbe' : setting up an art workshop in the 'Arc en Ciel' class for handicapped children. The work will lead to a trip to Giverny.
• 'Art africain' : exhibition of African art in the school.
• Events : "Figure libre" : a free monthly magazine creating a link between the public and the players in the cultural life of Rouen, prospecting for advertisers, distribution, writing articles, gathering information.
Photo, cinema, video, music
• 'Zik'Koz' : setting up, euipping and managing a music room for IFI students, finding sponsors, setting up a group and playing in public to collect money.
• 'Association cinéma' : offering students the possibility of seeing films at the school.
• 'Calendrier coquin' : unisex nude calendar using some of the IFI students as models.
• 'Regards sur le monde' : collecting photos from students so as to organise an exhibition of the best 50 or so.
• 'Clips vidéo' : making 2 videos, one having as theme 'Life at the IFI' and the other 'a critique of television', and show them at the Talent Show.
 Humanitarian
• '4Ltrophy' : a race with a humanitarian objective, accross the Moroccan desert. The aim is to bring school materials for distribution to Moroccan children.
• 'Les Petits Soleils' : organisating theme-based entertainment for sick children in the main hospital in Rouen.
• 'Dar El Beida' : collecting a spirometer, clothes and toys, and then get them to a hospital in Casablanca.
• 'Hémotion' : boosting the Haute Normandie branch of the French Haemophiliacs Association by organising a weekend of meetings between people suffering from haemophilia and their families.
• 'Humanitaire Sénégal' : collecting and then distributing school materials in schools near Dakar.
• 'N'go lumière' : collecting school materials, take-down equipment (tables, cupboards), and toys, for a school in Yaoundé.
• 'Espéranza' : bringing school materials to Peru.
• 'Bouchons d'amour' : collecting plastic stoppers to be able to buy a whellchair.
• 'Association Sénégal' : market study on behalf of an association which produces and distributes milk in the Senegalese countryside.
• 'Au plaisir de donner' : collecting clothes and foodstuffs for the Red cross and the 'Restos du cour'.
• 'Ordiroumanie' : getting a dozen or so computers for a school in Romania.
Sport
• 'Sportifitoi' (BDS) : creating a link between the ESC and the IFI, organising various competitions : football, basketball, etc., courses in Hip Hop, fitness, outings to the skating rink.
• 'Translaponie' : nordic triathlon.
• 'Les 24 heures motonautiques de Rouen' : making a press book and looking for sponsors for a team which will be taking part in the race.

Life at the IFI
Boutifique : design of a range of promotional products for the IFI with the aim of expanding the current range but also to offer students products which are more suited to their requirements.
‘Aide au logement’ (accommodation aid): put together a book to help students to find accommodation suited to their needs ; with essential advice for their choice of accommodation, a list of available accommodation and a quantitative assessment.
• Yearbook : producing a book to commemorate the main events of the year.
• BDE : students office
• Gala : organisation of the school’s Gala
• Journal de l’IFI : a magazine about life at the IFI.
Others
• Bacchus : tasting of Beaujolais wine, creation of the IFI Reserve.
• Équitablement Votre : promotion of Fair Trade through activities and information.
